Day One

Head out of Ninh Binh into the Pineapple Plantations and Rubber Farms before arriving to Doan Town to enjoy lunch before trekking to Hieu Village. Trek through terraced rice fields, cross over bamboo bridges, see farmers at work and cool down with a swim in the waterfall. (weather permitting) Staying overnight in basic accommodation in a homestay with a local thai family. Experience a family meal with local food cooked by your hosts.

Day Two

In the morning bid farewell to your hosts and set out on a steep climb to the top of the mountain to see the source of the waterfall before trekking through the bamboo forest on a narrow path and descending into the valley and passing through small villages back to Doan Town. Keep an eye out for local wildlife and enjoy a morning tea break along the way. A late lunch in Doan Town before returning to Ninh Binh.
