Day 1 Hanoi to Ninh Binh

8am Your driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will depart to Ninh Binh. You will stop to visit the Perfume Pagoda. You will enjoy a boat trip along the Yen River and the cable car to visit the Pagoda located inside the cave.

After lunch you will travel to Ninh Binh and check into the hotel. This afternoon you will be free to enjoy the countryside at your leisure. Stay overnight in Tam Coc.

Day 2 Ninh Binh

Early in the morning take a peaceful boat trip in Tam Coc and then drive to Van Trinh Cave. You will be able to enjoy the stunning views and continue to Van Long for Lunch. In the afternoon you will cycle around Van Long and enjoy a boat trip to spot the Langur Monkey. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight in Tam Coc.

 

Day 3 Ninh Binh to Pu Luong

This morning you will travel to Pu Luong Nature Reserve stopping at Ho Citadel on the way, recognized by UNESCO.  Arrrive Doan Town and enjoy the lunch before trekking to Hieu Village where you will stay overnight with the White Thai Family. You will have some time to go swimming at the small waterfall and then enjoy dinner at the Homestay. Overnight at homestay in Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

 

Day 4 Pu Luong to Ninh Binh to Dong Hoi

In the morning say goodbye to the family before trekking through the small villages, rice fields and mountains. Stop for a morning tea break and continue to Doan Town for a late lunch.  After lunch you will drive back to Ninh Binh and spend the afternoon to relax, refresh in the hotel and take the overnight train to Dong Hoi/Hue/Danang.
